This mask is designed to provide a strong skin calming effect and to support the skin barrier function. It contains a combination of ten different efficient active ingredients:
Calamine – effective ingredient against itchiness and skin irritation.
Calendula oil - Calendula oil is a natural oil extracted from marigold flowers (Calendula officinalis). Calendula oil has efficient skin calming properties that make it useful for treating reddish skin.
Hemp seed oil - a valuable source of essential omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids reduce the synthesis of various compounds involved in skin irritation and provide a substantial calming action.
Zinc - Zinc is very effective against free radicals, reduces oxidative stress and irritation.
Niacinamide - niacinamide provides an effective soothing effect and was found efficient for treating reddish skin.
Symcalmine (hydroxyphenyl propamidobenzoic acid) – belong to the group of compounds called "Avenanthramides" only found in oats. There are strong evidences in the scientific literature regarding the potential calming effect of avenanthramides against redness and itchiness.
